MOVIES: Confession of a Dangerous Mind ####

Let's say that in 10 years Silvio Santos(a very famous show host in Brazil) is already retired, then he writes his own biography. Then he reveals that actually he was a contract murderer for the ABIN(Brazil intelligence Agency) at night and a Show Host at day. What would you say? That's pretty much the idea of this movie, it's his biography.
In reality the biography of Chuck Barry the creator of the afternoon shows that Silvio santos copy. It's based on his unauthorized biography, it's directed by George Clonney, with Charlie Kaufman's script, it's starred by Sam Rockwell and Drew Barrymoore with Julia Roberts and George Clooney. Great movie, great script, great actors, great director. Wow, that film really surprise me, I was already expecting a wonderfull movie, based on the reviews and Charlie Kaufman Script, but is even better!!!...

Diary (ohh shame, this look like a real blog)

Hi, I must say which book I'm reading this days. I'm re-reading Sophia's Garden, actually I never finish the book when I begin with 14 years old. It's a pretty good book, but too little information, I am going to buy a more complete book about philosophy, but for someone interested in a light view of the history of philosopjy, or just a great story, I strongly recomended.
I bought in a used-book store two books from Ursula K. LeGuin, after a sugestion from my friend Helio (with the opinion I considered in high esteem), then for R$5 I bought "The Dispossessed" and for more R$5 (aproximately US$2) I also bought "The Left Hand of Darkness", this books are Science Fiction, great BestSellers and highly awarded in the media. It's probaly my next book.
This is worthless, I should not talk about my life on this blog, I was without ideas!!!!! sorry, I will stop now..........NOW

Coffee Chat

This night, I have a brainstorm of philosofy while I was re-reading Sofia's Garden, I rethink my views of Soul, Mind and Life. Today evening after my job as a teacher, I went to a coffee in the nearest shopping to chat with my friend Bruno. There I organized my thoughts abhout last night, I think I will expose something here.
From some time I have a view that my mind was just some kind of eletromagnetics signs in my brain, with no place for the existence of a soul in the classic concept. But when I was thinking about reason and mind, I realize I kind that not accept the idea of my mind been that simple. I have to create a separate place for my thoughts, even if that mean that I may be wrong in my first statement. I have to go, I will continue this thought tomorrow, sorry :)

The first and the Only

Here is Tárik Kaiel, the first and only. If I don't know from where I came, and where I go, I know that my name is from the Umayyad conqueror of Spain, in his homage exist today the Strait of Gilbraltar (the name Gibraltar is derived from the Arabic name Jabal Tariq, which means mountain of Tariq). Pretty impressive.
I would like to say what it's important in life.

There is where is located other important thing very related with the first, Love. By that, I mean love yourself, love your woman(or man), love your friends, love god(s) if you believe, love life and everything thatt is inside the package.
Love is a complicated matter, some say it's impossible to be happy without, that it's a bit exaggerated, but if you have a true love your done, then you know what you want to be happy. But by true love I don'n mean that crap the soap operas and Hollywood Movies make you swallow, that is just a idealization of a eternall Passion, not love. True love is when the passion become partnership, kindness, understanding, is when all that little glitch your companion has become untolerable... to live without.FE...

LIFE, get it, or get out

One day in the universe, there was nothing, then someone/something/nothing/wherever create life. In general it was considered a bad thing. Everything was so calm before, no one goes to hell, no one kill anyone, imagine you never would need to think about money. If you stop to think about it, a living earth it's not a big deal. If you get the average, that the universe is huge, not huge like,"wow, this book is huge", really huge, unthinkable HUGE!!!!!! And life only exist in a really tiny part of it, even if exist in other worlds, the space is a gigantic void. Only 0,0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
000000000000000000000000000000000000001/2% of the universe is alive. Taking average, there is no life in the universe whatsoever, you could say, it's dead. So I think it's kind of overrated.

O que é isso?

This is the beggining.
I will speak the truth, simple and clean.
This blog is a cliché, there is no reason whatsoever you should read.
It's about nothing, like seinfeld, what means is about everything, what leads, obviously that is about life and it's upmost meaningless, pointless existence.
Here, I will post ideas, thoughs and anything that cross my mind.
Some will be in english, others in portuguese. The real thing, is take the good ideas in this blog and make a real site.
